The Catskills Irish Arts Week looks forward to celebrating its 31st year as a week-long summer school of traditional Irish music, song, and dance under the auspices of the Michael J. Quill Irish Cultural and Sports Centre.  The Catskills Irish Arts Week takes place in East Durham, New York — the heart of the Irish Catskills.

Events and classes are scheduled July 15 to 19, 2025.  Classes take place mornings from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, and afternoons from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm.  Classes occur at assigned venues in the area; class locations are distributed to registrants in advance of Catskills Irish Arts Week.  Classes are available on a full-time (twice a day) or part-time basis (either morning or afternoon classes).  Along with classes, tuition covers admission to Evening Concerts and Ceilithe by the teaching and performing Faculty; general public/non-registrants are welcome to participate for an admission fee or with purchase of week pass.  The Shamrock House has afternoon lectures from 4:00 to 5:15 pm on topics related to Irish music, dance and culture; the Shamrock House also hosts a nightly Ceilithe all week (9:00 pm to 12:00 am), with Fear A Tí Padraig McEneany.  A barn dance (Wednesday from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm) is scheduled on the Quill Festival Grounds for all Catskill Irish Arts Week registrants (general public/non-registrants welcome, with paid admission/week pass purchase).  Concerts with world class performers will take place Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of Arts Week (7:30 pm to 9:30 pm)at the Quill Festival Grounds in the McGrath Pavilion. Participating resorts and pubs will host open sessions galore from 10:00 pm to 12:00 am, as well as intimate “Listening Room” performances.

A Finale Festival will be held Saturday July 19th, 2025 on the festival grounds from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm; tickets can be purchased in advance.  Saturday Festival Tickets are not part of student registration packets but can be ordered as part of registration process online or through the Quill Office during the week.
