MJQ Irish Cultural & Sports Centre is a not-for-profit, 501c3 organization that has a long and deep history of promoting Irish Culture and Heritage with 12 key initiatives.
We are expanding our center and looking to add a new Chair and Vice Chair to lead our MJQ Marketing Committee, work with the various committee chairs and collaborate for the expansion and monetization of the center’s assets.
This is a volunteer role that we wish to open to the community for anyone that has marketing and social media experience and a deep commitment to serving others.
Following is an outline for the key qualifications we hope to bring for the success of our events and the center’s future.
Ideal Qualifications for Committee Chair and Vice Chair Roles
- With corporate marketing, multi-channel marketing, social media and or business leadership experience
- Who are ‘Go-getter’s’ and bring a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Who have a strong business acumen, managerial qualities and skills
- Who can network and influence outside concerns to join and support our center at a committee or volunteer level
- Who can identify new talent and onboard other new committee members
- Who can lead others with respect, enthusiasm and excitement for the success of our center’s future
- Who ideally, also have a strong Irish community brand and/or are known as leaders in the community
