David began his musical journey in Ireland’s distinct Sliabh Luachra region, a cultural stronghold that shaped his unique style and exceptional skill. A three-time All-Ireland Fleadh medalist, David has gained widespread acclaim for both his virtuosic performances and his commitment to preserving and teaching Irish music.

At just eighteen, David began sharing his passion with young students in primary schools throughout Ireland. For over twelve years, he has taught at summer schools, Comhaltas branches, and workshops, mentoring students of all ages and skill levels. His thoughtful and intuitive teaching approach emphasizes both technical mastery and emotional expression, inspiring each student to realize their full musical potential.

Now based in Boston, Massachusetts, David has quickly become a prominent name in the local Irish music scene. He has performed at iconic venues such as The Black Rose, The Dubliner, Emmet’s, and the Irish Cultural Centre, and has been featured at the BCM Festival, where his distinct Irish sound resonates with wide-ranging audiences.
