The Michael J. Quill Irish Cultural and Sport Centre Inc. is a non-profit 501(C)(3), educational corporation that was founded in 1987 by community leaders. Our mission is to preserve and promote Irish culture and artistic heritage in both the local community and in the northeast region. Our 58-acre property in East Durham currently houses the Irish-American Heritage Museum and hosts various festivals and sports programs, including the Catskills Irish Arts Week and East Durham Feis.

The Michael J. Quill Irish Cultural & Sports Centre commemorated this momentous and grand map of Ireland in September of 2001 which is the largest map of Ireland in the world. Each of the 32 counties of Ireland is represented and marked with its unique and distinctive county flag on this one-of-a-kind destination, which celebrates Greene as its 33rd county!

We also sell the bricks and install them on-site during our East Durham Irish Festival annually.
